Robert "Bob" Wright
Principal & CEO
Bob founded Wright Hotel Development and has directed the development and construction of residential and commercial real estate projects for 37 years. The company evolved from single-family construction into a diversified portfolio of complex commercial and hospitality assets. As a facility owner himself, Bob brings a practical owner’s perspective that aligns project delivery with long-term asset performance. He remains hands-on with project managers, superintendents, investors, and owners, reinforcing accountability and relationship-driven execution. Bob oversees all company operations with a focus on disciplined process and consistent delivery that meets or exceeds client and lender expectations.
Loren Wright
Chief Operating Officer
Loren directs day-to-day operations and Human Resources, ensuring consistent systems, clear communication, and coordinated performance across the project lifecycle. She serves as a primary point of contact for clients and internal teams, maintaining alignment from development through construction close-out. Loren is responsible for the operational frameworks that support reliable delivery of the “Wright Product,” emphasizing the relationship and process discipline that produce repeatable, low-risk outcomes.
Benita Smith
Chief Financial Officer
Benita has been an integral part of Wright Hotel Development for seven years, serving as the Chief Financial Officer. She brings more than 30 years of experience in construction accounting and financial management. In her role, she works closely with Project Managers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure accurate project costing, maintain financial accountability, and support compliance requirements.
Her strong organizational and multitasking skills allow her to effectively manage multiple projects while maintaining high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness. Benita’s extensive industry experience and attention to detail contribute to the successful financial management and overall performance of Wright Hotel Development's projects.
Taylor Haase
Project Coordinator
Taylor works closely with Project Managers and the Chief Financial Officer to coordinate documents and information between the office and field throughout the construction process. She plays an integral role in project administration, including contract administration, coordinating plans and project documents between the office, field, and subcontractors, and supporting project closeout activities.
Taylor also assists with finalizing closeout documentation and preparing Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Manuals, helping ensure projects are thoroughly documented and completed in accordance with project requirements.
